How We'll Work Together
Therapy with me is collaborative, unhurried, and built around you. I use a trauma-informed, mind-body approach that honors everything you've been through and everything you're still carrying.
At the heart of my work is a relational approach , which simply means that the relationship between us matters. Healing doesn't happen in isolation; it happens in connection. The way we show up with each other in the therapy room becomes a powerful part of the work itself. You can bring all of yourself here , the polished parts and the unraveling ones and be met with nothing but warmth and genuine care.
You are the expert on your own life. My role is to help you slow down, make sense of what's happening beneath the surface, and reconnect with the strength that's always been there. We'll move at your pace, on your terms ,creating space for curiosity, self-compassion, and real, lasting change.
My hope is that by the time we're done, you'll feel grounded, boundaried, and free , not who you think you should be, but fully and unapologetically who you are.
Frequently Asked Questions
Still have questions? Take a look at the FAQ or reach out anytime. If you’re feeling ready, let’s connect!

If you've been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or like you're just going through the motions — therapy might be exactly what you need. You don't have to be in crisis to seek support. If something feels off, if you're tired of carrying it alone, or if you're simply ready to feel better — that's enough of a reason. Reaching out is the first and bravest step.
-
Our first session is really about getting to know each other. I'll ask you some questions about what's bringing you to therapy, what your life looks like right now, and what you're hoping to feel or experience differently. There's no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you're ready to. We go at your pace — always.
-
I currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Aetna, and Cigna. If you're not sure whether your plan is covered, feel free to reach out and we can look into it together. I also offer a sliding scale for those paying out of pocket — because cost should never be what stands between you and healing.
-
A sliding scale means that your session fee is adjusted based on your financial situation. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots because I believe healing should be accessible to everyone — not just those who can afford the full rate. If finances are a concern, please just say so when you reach out. There's no judgment here, only a genuine desire to help you get the support you need.
-
That really depends on you — your goals, your pace, and what you're working through. Some people find meaningful relief in a few months. Others prefer longer term support as they continue to grow and heal. We'll check in regularly to make sure our work together still feels aligned with where you are and where you want to go. You're always in the driver's seat.
-
Yes — research consistently shows that teletherapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for most concerns, including anxiety, depression, and chronic illness support. Many clients actually find it easier to open up from the comfort of their own space. All you need is a private, quiet spot and a reliable internet connection. The healing happens either way.
-
I hear this a lot — and I want you to know that a bad fit isn't a failed attempt. Therapy is deeply relational, which means the connection between you and your therapist matters enormously. If past therapy felt too clinical, too surface-level, or like the therapist just didn't get you — that's worth paying attention to. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. It might just feel different this time.

It's simple — schedule your free 15-minute consultation and we'll take it from there. We'll use that time to connect, talk about what's bringing you to therapy, and see if we're a good fit. No pressure, no commitment. Just a conversation.
