Hi, I’m Gem Coleman
I walk alongside adults navigating the weight of anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and life's biggest transitions — helping them reconnect with their resilience and find their way back to themselves.
I show up to this work not just with my training, but with my whole self. My Caribbean roots, my own healing story, and my deep belief that rest, connection, and community are not luxuries — they are necessities. You deserve a space where all of that is understood without explanation.
A little more about me
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Auburn University graduate with a Master's of Education in Community Agency Counseling. I specialize in anxiety, depression, chronic pain and illness, self-worth, life transitions, and the emotional impact of complex relationships.
When I'm not in session, you can find me on a walk with a podcast in my ears, laughing through a rom-com, or getting sucked into a true crime documentary. I believe deeply in rest as a birthright — and yes, I practice what I preach. I’m a true introvert and I love to be at home, on my couch resting!
Time and again, I've witnessed what people are capable of — even in their darkest, most exhausting moments. The resilience I see in my clients humbles me every single time. Getting to walk alongside someone as they face their fears, release old stories that no longer serve them, and grow into a life that actually feels like theirs — that never gets old. It is, without a doubt, the greatest honor of my life.
You Might Be Here Because...
Life feels like a lot right now. Maybe you're managing chronic pain or a health diagnosis while trying to show up for everyone else. Maybe anxiety has become your constant companion, or you're somewhere in the middle of a transition — motherhood, a career shift, a relationship that's gotten complicated — and you're not quite sure who you are in it anymore.
You're not broken. You're overwhelmed. And there's a difference.
I work with adults in Georgia who are ready to stop just surviving and start feeling at home in themselves again — people who want to understand the connection between their body, their emotions, and their story, and who are looking for a warm, nonjudgmental space to do that work.
